HOUSTON – July 29, 2025 – Gexa Energy and its affiliates donated $130,000 to support flood relief efforts in Kerr County, Texas. The donation was distributed between the Kerr County Relief Fund and the American Red Cross.
“The tragic loss of life and overwhelming destruction across the Texas Hill Country has deeply affected us all. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to all families and communities impacted by this tragedy" said Ryan McGeachie, President of Houston-based Gexa Energy.
The Kerr County Relief Fund, organized by the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, is allocating funds to vetted organizations to help with relief and recovery efforts and flood assistance.
American Red Cross is on the ground in Texas and working to support emergency shelters by providing food, relief supplies, much-needed health and mental health services and other critical resources like financial and family travel assistance.
