Houston Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. They bring communities together to help families build and improve places to call home, creating affordable homeownership opportunities for hardworking Houston families.
Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Houston Habitat helps families build decent, affordable homes in partnership with future homeowners. Gexa employees have attended several builds this year and put in sweaty but incredibly fulfilling hours of construction work. Our teams have experienced firsthand the meaningful impact of building not just homes, but hope for Texas families, embodying our commitment to Texans serving Texans as we work together to strengthen our Houston community one home at a time.
Looking ahead to 2026, Gexa Energy is proud to be the Presenting Sponsor for the Houston Habitat for Humanity Women Build and has three builds planned throughout the year, continuing our tradition of hands-on community service and meaningful partnerships that make a difference for our fellow Texans.
