Yes. Thanks to Texas’ deregulated electricity market, you can shop for and switch providers at the end of your contract or earlier, depending on any early termination fees.
Once you have signed up for one of our plans, we will contact your current utility for you. ERCOT will also send you a postcard notifying you of the retail electricity provider (REP) switch. Visit our How to Enroll page to learn more.
Gexa Energy offers a variety of plans in each Transmission and Distribution Utility (TDU) area. If you are a new customer, you can shop available plans for the most up-to-date pricing. If you are a current Gexa customer, please sign into My Account to browse current plans.

Gexa Energy purchases renewable energy credits (RECs) from renewable generation resources throughout North America to match 100% of the energy sold under your electric plan. The RECs Gexa purchases represent the renewable attributes of power generated from a variety of renewable energy sources, including, but not limited to, the sun, wind, geothermal, hydroelectric, wave or tidal energy, and biomass or biomass-based waste products, including landfill gas.
