Gexa Energy's fixed price electricity product gives you term flexibility and price certainty. This electricity contract type works best for businesses that require budget certainty. The price of your electricity commodity is fixed through the initial term of the contract. You can select whether you want to fix the price of separate charges for components associated with retail electric supply, such as capacity and transmission.*
Fixed Rate Electricity Plans

and down every hour. - We lower your risk of price volatility by purchasing electricity forward (set price, future delivered) and doing the hedging for you.
Risk Level
By fixing the price of electricity commodities, you allow us the opportunity to hedge your commodity risk when market prices fluctuate.
This product costs the most, but it eliminates electricity commodity price risk.
BasicBundle Overview
Features: Fixed electricity commodity price per kWh for the initial term of the contract. You can select whether you want to fix the price of separate charges for components associated with retail electric supply, such as capacity and transmission.*
Contract Options: Up to 96 months - and even longer for creditworthy customers.
Potential Risk: Low, due to the fixed electricity commodity price per kWh.
Advantages: Greater budget certainty and greater financial predictability.
Disadvantages: Low, due to the fixed electricity commodity price per kWh.
What if BasicBundle isn’t for me?
A fixed price electricity commodity price may not be ideal if you’re planning to integrate behind-the-meter renewable energy at your sites, participate in demand response or make energy efficiency upgrades. Our variable price products, such as our block-and-index product or SupplyIQ® Power, can help give you the flexibility you want to keep your overall electricity costs low.

Gexa Energy purchases renewable energy credits (RECs) from renewable generation resources throughout North America to match 100% of the energy sold under your electric plan. The RECs Gexa purchases represent the renewable attributes of power generated from a variety of renewable energy sources, including, but not limited to, the sun, wind, geothermal, hydroelectric, wave or tidal energy, and biomass or biomass-based waste products, including landfill gas.
*The Energy Charge charged by Gexa Energy on fixed price plans is fixed and will not change during the initial term of your plan. The Energy Charge associated with variable price and month to month products may be higher or lower each month. For fixed and variable plans, the total price of your electricity may be adjusted to reflect changes in TDU charges, third party fees, or changes in law or regulation that result in the imposition of new or modified fees or costs on Gexa Energy.
