Gexa Energy Overview & History

Scheduling Entity (QSE) and is registered with the
Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT).
- NextEra Energy, Inc. acquired Gexa Energy in 2005.
NextEra Energy Resources’ proven resources allow Gexa Energy the opportunity to continue its growth while strengthening the ability to
provide additional service offerings.
- Gexa Energy is a wholly-owned indirect subsidiary of
NextEra Energy Resources. Gexa Energy’s service territory
expansion outside of Texas is complimentary to NextEra Energy Resources’
wholesale market presence.
