GEXA ENERGY SIGNS ELECTRICITY PURCHASE AGREEMENTS WITH TARANTINO PROPERTIES, ALLIANCE RESIDENTIAL MANAGEMENT
Houston, TX - April 13, 2007

Gexa Energy has added two new electricity purchase agreements with Alliance Residential Management, LLC and Tarantino Properties, Inc., multi-family management companies which combine to represent 101 multifamily communities and more than 31,000 units in Houston and Dallas.

"The owners of multifamily communities recognize the value of 'shopping' their electricity needs," says Abe Bhimani, director of multifamily services for Gexa Energy. "Besides competitive energy rates, multifamily owners also are taking a longer look at a provider's financial stability as well whether or not it offers services tailored for their properties."

Gexa Energy currently has an extensive multifamily business with more than 100,000 apartment units under contract in Texas. Managers of properties under contract with Gexa Energy have the added benefit of a proprietary website where they can access a secure property portal to submit disconnects and reconnects and manage their vacant units through a real-time property activity report. The company also staffs a dedicated multifamily call center for apartment managers.
