BRAEBURN VALLEY RESIDENT WINS FREE ELECTRICITY FOR A YEAR FROM GEXA ENERGY
Houston, TX - September 24, 2007

Gexa Energy customer Daniel Velarde of the Houston subdivision of Braeburn Valley doesn’t have to worry about paying his electricity bill this month... or the next month... or the next. In fact, he doesn’t have to pay his electricity bill for an entire year.

Velarde’s name was selected to receive free electricity for an entire year in a drawing of Gexa Energy’s residential customers as part of the company’s Customer Appreciation Program. Gexa will conduct drawings for one winner each month through December, 2007. All Gexa residential customers are eligible to win, regardless of the amount of electricity they use.

“I have never won anything in my entire life,” said an ecstatic Velarde. “I was pretty excited when I got the call. I’m telling everybody that I won!”

Velarde, who signed up for service with Gexa Energy in 2004, estimates he’ll save $2,500 – $3,000 with the free electricity prize, money he plans to use toward remodeling his home. “It’s like found money,” he added.
