Gexa Energy Sponsors Houston Performances of World-famous Trans-Siberian Orchestra

HOUSTON, TX - December 14, 2009
Gexa Energy will serve as a co-presenting sponsor of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s two Houston concerts to be
held at Toyota Center on Sunday, December 27 at 3 pm and 7:30 pm.
The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is best know for its single, “Christmas Eve (Sarajevo/1224)” which inspired
generations of fans to re-discover the multi-dimensional art form of the rock opera. Its music also was
made famous in a beer ad with the insanely decorated Christmas house whose lights were synced to its hit,
“Wizards in Winter.”
The Trans-Siberian Orchestra sold more than seven million copies of its first four rock operas – Christmas
Eve & Other Stories (1996), The Christmas Attic (1998), Beethoven’s Last Night (2000) and The Lost Christmas
Eve (2004). In 2008, it played to more than five million fans in 80+ cities, selling more than $230 million
in tickets.
