John Woodward Joins Gexa Energy's Commercial Sales Team

HOUSTON, TX - November 9, 2009
John Woodward, a veteran of more than 34 years in the areas of retail electricity sales and power generation,
has joined Gexa Energy’s commercial sales team as a Director of Sales for the Texas Market.
In this capacity, Woodward will assist in the planning and directing of Gexa Energy’s commercial sales strategies
and initiatives with a focus on large-scale commercial transactions. Moreover, Woodward will be responsible for
leading and nurturing the indirect sales channel consisting of energy brokers and consultants.

Collin Coker. “He brings a tremendous level of leadership, experience and industry insight to our commercial sales team.”
Prior to joining Gexa Energy, Woodward served as Vice President Indirect Markets for Constellation NewEnergy where
he was responsible for sales transactions through energy brokers and consultants across North America.
Earlier in his career, as Dynegy’s Senior Director and Market Manager, Woodward was responsible for
charting a path for the company’s entry into Texas’ newly restructured retail electricity market.
He also served in various senior-level roles with Chevron Corporation to include Manager, Power Generation
and Retail Gas Sales; Manager, Business Development; and Senior Sales Representative, Gas Marketing.
