Bill Payment Assistance Funds Available for
Low-income Customers of Gexa Energy

HOUSTON, TX - July 28, 2009
Customers of Gexa Energy who qualify as low-income households are eligible to receive bill payment assistance funds from Sheltering
Arms Senior Services, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the needs of seniors and their caregivers in Houston.
Sheltering Arms will determine customer eligibility according to household income. The organization also will administer the funds
to eligible Gexa Energy customers.
As always, customers should contact their retail electric provider first, before establishing contact with a third-party organization,
to discuss their balance. Depending on the customer’s situation, Gexa Energy may establish a deferred or extended payment plan.
Customers who are having difficulty paying for their current service with Gexa Energy should contact the company’s customer service
department at 866-961-9399.
