Gexa Energy Names Jim Brown as
Vice President, Finance

HOUSTON, TX - June 1, 2009
Gexa Energy has named Jim Brown, as its new Vice President, Finance where
he will direct the company’s financial strategies and oversee personnel responsible for forecasts,
budgets, tax and audit functions designed to sustain the company’s sound fiscal climate.
Prior to joining Gexa Energy, Brown served as Vice President of Accounting for the
Natural Gas Group at Constellation Energy Resources Group. In this role, he was responsible
for a myriad of accounting functions within the company’s Exploration & Production and
Natural Gas Marketing groups.
Brown’s career includes serving as a General Manager of Accounting for Duke Energy
Corp. He also spent eight years in Arthur Andersen’s Houston Energy practice. Brown is
licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.
